The timeless beauty of Japanese craftsmanship in a soft, elegant ivory.

“SHIROARARE” combines shiro (白), meaning “white,” with arare (霰), the Japanese word for small hailstones. Inspired by the delicate, textured patterns of traditional Japanese pottery, the name captures the natural beauty of its surface and the quiet elegance of its ivory finish.

Crafted with care by artisans in Iga, a historic pottery region of Japan, SHIROARARE celebrates the enduring tradition of Japanese craftsmanship. Iga clay naturally develops a porous structure during firing, giving the donabe excellent heat retention. Its gentle, even heat helps bring out the natural flavors of your ingredients, creating delicious, comforting meals.

The soft ivory glaze, intricately textured lid, and gently rounded silhouette create a harmonious balance of rustic charm and refined simplicity. Combining the functionality of traditional Japanese cookware with a timeless design, SHIROARARE brings warmth and understated elegance to your table.
