SEIRAN
Practical design meets understated Japanese charm.
“SEIRAN” evokes the serene beauty of Japanese craftsmanship, expressed through a soft, natural finish and a clean, contemporary silhouette. Designed to bring both functionality and charm to your table, this donabe makes everyday cooking a pleasure.
Made in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, home of Banko ware, one of Japan’s most renowned pottery traditions, SEIRAN combines traditional craftsmanship with thoughtful modern design.
Designed for use over a direct flame, its flat bottom provides a stable base, while its deeper shape offers generous room for ingredients and broth. Practical and versatile, it is ideal for preparing comforting hot pot dishes to share with family and friends.
The clay body has a very low water absorption rate, helping resist the absorption of odors and making the pot less susceptible to mold. Its durable construction also helps it withstand everyday use, making SEIRAN a dependable companion for countless meals.
